Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology roadmap, aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Champion innovation through hackathons, incubation programs, and startup partnerships
- Present future-vision insights to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Oversee the development of prototype technologies with 3-5 year commercialization horizons
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track industry disruption indicators
- Mentor next-generation tech talent in emerging disciplines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology leadership with 5+ years in strategic futurism or R&D
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products with multi-year impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology, etc.)
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry forums
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Certification in Futures Studies or equivalent strategic foresight training
