You'll translate complex future scenarios into actionable roadmaps while representing our thought leadership at premier industry forums.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and quantify emerging trends impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop and publish annual Future State strategic frameworks with quantifiable impact projections
- Facilitate executive workshops on scenario planning and risk mitigation for 2026 disruptions
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers
- Translate foresight insights into product development roadmaps and investment strategies
- Author thought leadership content for industry publications and Horizon Dynamics' platforms
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future-oriented decision-making frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent field
- 8+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex future scenarios
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or AC/SF) preferred
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning tools
- Portfolio of published future trend analyses or strategic foresight projects
