Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, biotech, and climate tech
- Produce strategic foresight reports for executive decision-making and investor relations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to pioneer next-gen solutions
- Quantify market readiness and adoption timelines for emerging technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors with data-backed confidence
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of speculative innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of successfully mapping technology trends to business outcomes
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional data visualization skills using tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Published thought leadership in foresight journals or industry publications
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and investment committees
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
