Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic shifts to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop and implement strategic frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI)
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype next-gen solutions and validate market readiness
- Build executive-level scenario models and risk mitigation strategies for high-impact uncertainties
- Author forward-looking thought leadership and whitepapers positioning FutureVision as the 2026 innovation benchmark
- Partner with R&D to translate future-vision into product roadmaps with 5-7 year horizons
- Represent FutureVision at global futurist forums and shape industry conversations about 2026 capabilities
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products or market shifts
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, synthetic biology, advanced materials)
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant field
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in trend analysis tools (Gartner, Forrester, etc.)
- Published author or keynote speaker on future-of-work/technology topics
- Experience building and leading multidisciplinary innovation teams across global markets
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year strategic foresight implementations
