Responsibilities
- Develop horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive technologies and market inflection points through 2026
- Design scenario-plaking models for geopolitical, environmental, and technological uncertainties
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future intelligence into product roadmaps
- Author annual 'State of the Future' reports for executive board and investor briefings
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions aligned with 2026 capability horizons
- Establish KPIs for future readiness across business units
- Represent Nexus at global innovation forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative discipline
- Proven track record of translating foresight into executable business strategy
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology adoption curves
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, climate tech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures to diverse audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or equivalent preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects delivered to Fortune 500 clients
