Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to identify emerging trends with 5-10 year impact on business models
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for disruptive technologies (AGI, synthetic biology, neuromorphic computing)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into strategic priorities
- Produce annual 'State of 2026' intelligence briefs for executive decision-making
- Establish partnerships with futurist institutes, academic labs, and tech incubators
- Mentor innovation teams in foresight methodologies and trend analysis
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and policy forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or emerging technology analysis
- Proven track record of translating future trends into business strategy
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and systems thinking
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Deep knowledge of AI/ML, quantum computing, or climate tech ecosystems
- Exceptional communication skills for C-suite and stakeholder presentations
- Certification in futurist methodologies (e.g., CFP, CFMP) preferred
