Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives identifying disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 markets
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for clients across tech, healthcare, and sustainability sectors
- Facilitate executive workshops using futures-thinking methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Produce actionable trend reports with quantitative forecasts and qualitative narratives
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-state business models and service offerings
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives through compelling visual storytelling
- Mentor junior analysts in futures research methodologies and strategic foresight
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic consulting, innovation, or futures research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional data visualization and presentation skills with portfolio of futurist deliverables
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from ACIF or other recognized institution)
- Strong network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
