Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026-2030 technology and societal trend forecasts using predictive analytics and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and threats in emerging markets
- Design strategic frameworks for adopting next-gen technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Produce executive-ready foresight reports with data-driven risk assessments and opportunity analyses
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions addressing future market demands
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, industry panels, and media engagements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, biotech)
- Proven track record translating foresight into executable business strategies
- Strong data visualization and storytelling skills for complex concepts
- Experience with Delphi methods, SWOT analysis, and PESTLE frameworks
