- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation initiatives with corporate strategy and growth targets
- Conduct competitive intelligence and scenario planning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, etc.)
- Manage a $5M+ R&D budget, allocating resources to high-impact projects with exponential ROI potential
- Present strategic insights to investors and board members, securing buy-in for future-focused initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product development, or innovation management
- Expertise in forecasting methodologies and future trend analysis (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Proven track record of launching products with 5+ year market impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., CFCS, CPIM)
- Experience with emerging technologies (blockchain, AI, biotech) and their commercial applications
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
