- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Present innovation frameworks to the board and secure $10M+ annual R&D budget allocations
- Mentor the next generation of futurists through our 'Horizon 2026' fellowship program
- Anticipate geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting 2026 technological adoption
- Drive patent strategy for breakthrough technologies targeting 2026 market readiness
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation or technology leadership with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record launching technologies with 5+ year market impact horizons
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI governance, or climate tech
- Executive presence with successful C-suite stakeholder management
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (e.g., MIT Tech Review, Nature Futures)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business with innovation focus
- Experience securing $50M+ innovation budgets and managing global R&D teams
