Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead research initiatives on emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics)
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation with long-term business objectives
- Manage a portfolio of R&D projects with $2M+ annual budgets
- Identify and mitigate disruptive threats/opportunities through competitive analysis
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and industry forums
- Mentor junior innovators and cultivate a culture of experimental thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in foresight/innovation roles
- Proven track record scaling disruptive products to $50M+ ARR
- Expertise in emerging tech trends: quantum, AGI, neurotech, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Strategy
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in scenario planning frameworks
- Experience building innovation labs or corporate venture arms
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred) or relevant domain expertise
- Exceptional communication with ability to inspire cross-functional teams
