Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology roadmap, integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech innovations
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and launch breakthrough products with 18-month market readiness
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging trends with 3-5 year commercial viability
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global innovation hubs
- Present visionary frameworks to investors and board members securing $50M+ annual R&D budget
- Mentor talent pipeline in future-focused skills and methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation leadership with demonstrated impact on future-shaping initiatives
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology) with peer-reviewed publications
- Track record of launching products that achieved $100M+ ARR within 5 years
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology preferred
- Experience securing federal grants for moonshot projects (DARPA, NSF, etc.)
- Proficiency in scenario planning frameworks and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
