Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead R&D initiatives in emerging fields (quantum AI, neuro-interfaces, climate tech)
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and acquire disruptive startups
- Present innovation strategies to the board of directors and key stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for innovation ROI and track progress against 2026 milestones
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology architects
- Conduct quarterly tech horizon scans and competitive disruption analyses
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation leadership, with 5+ at director/VP level
- Proven track record launching products with $100M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Executive presence with board-level presentation experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Certification in Innovation Management or Technology Strategy
