Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation strategy, identifying disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization horizons
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, sustainable AI, and bio-digital convergence
- Partner with venture capital arms to evaluate and integrate emerging startups into our innovation ecosystem
- Present strategic tech roadmaps to executive stakeholders and board members with compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish ethical frameworks for emerging technologies, ensuring compliance with evolving global regulations
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons, patent development, and thought leadership publications
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in strategic leadership roles
- Proven track record of scaling emerging technologies from concept to commercial deployment
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, sustainable AI, or synthetic biology
- Experience building and leading multidisciplinary innovation teams of 20+ members
- Strong understanding of ethical tech governance frameworks (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST standards)
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with C-suite and board-level experience
- PhD or equivalent in relevant technical field (preferred) with demonstrated thought leadership
- Published speaker at major tech conferences (e.g., Web Summit, CES, TED)
