Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, aligning with long-term corporate vision
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging trends and disruptive threats/opportunities
- Drive strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Mentor junior talent in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, product development, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies post-2020
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA, MS Engineering, or PhD preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making experience
- Exceptional communication skills for executive stakeholder management
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., CPM, PDMA) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-oriented projects
