Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead agile sprints to prototype next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget allocation for strategic innovation initiatives
- Forge partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Stanford HAI, and EU Horizon projects
- Present quarterly innovation briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor a 12-person innovation lab across 3 US tech hubs
- File 5+ patents annually for proprietary breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record scaling innovation labs from concept to commercialization
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Bioengineering, or related field
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) and VC funding >$10M
- Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, or German for global partnerships
