Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy aligning with company vision
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in building and testing future-proof prototypes
- Establish partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Create innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping and market validation
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Foster a culture of experimentation and ethical innovation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products with >$100M impact
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Executive experience in Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Strong financial acumen with innovation budget management
- Published thought leadership in technology or business journals
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management preferred
