As a key member of our Advanced Research Division, you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates, AI pioneers, and quantum computing experts to develop solutions for humanity's grand challenges. We offer unparalleled resources, including a $50M annual R&D budget and access to our quantum computing lab.
Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping 2026-era innovations (neural interfaces, climate AI, etc.)
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for emerging tech disruptions
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Secure $5M+ in annual research grants and partnerships
- Mentor junior futurists and publish thought leadership in top-tier journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Futurology with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in scaling emerging technologies from lab to market
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, AGI safety, climate modeling
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF, etc.)
- Portfolio of deployed solutions impacting >1M users
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
