Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026 technology vision roadmap integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Produce annual Tech Horizon Reports with market analysis and competitive intelligence
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global research labs
- Present technology forecasts to investors and board members with data-driven risk assessments
- Drive patent strategy and intellectual property portfolio expansion
- Mentor junior futurists and establish internal innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in foresight or futurism roles
- Proven track record of launching tech products with $50M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in emerging tech trends: generative AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals (IEEE, Nature Tech)
- Strong financial modeling skills for tech ROI forecasting
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding from venture capital or government grants
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) or equivalent
