Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and blockchain 3.0
- Lead cross-functional 'Horizon Scanning' teams to identify disruptive tech vectors
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-machine symbiosis
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on emerging tech implications
- Build partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and quantum research consortia
- Architect innovation incubators for 2026-era technologies (e.g., synthetic biology interfaces)
- Conduct annual 'Future Shock' simulations to stress-test organizational resilience
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in future-focused roles
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or equivalent experience
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., from foresight.org)
- Deep expertise in ethical AI governance and regulatory frameworks
