Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) with 2026+ market potential
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps aligning technological trends with business objectives
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite executives on future industry disruptions
- Partner with product teams to integrate emerging tech into development pipelines
- Author thought leadership reports and present findings at global tech conferences
- Manage a $5M innovation budget for prototyping and strategic partnerships
- Mentor junior futurists and build cross-functional innovation networks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, R&D, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with 80%+ accuracy
- Expertise in AI/ML, blockchain, or sustainable energy systems
- Experience building innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level experience
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
