Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate-positive AI systems
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in prototyping next-gen human-machine interaction paradigms
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies through patent analysis and academic partnerships
- Architect ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and AI decision-making protocols
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and venture capital stakeholders on tech evolution trends
- Drive R&D initiatives in sustainable computing and energy-efficient data architectures
- Mentor junior researchers in futuristic technology adoption methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- 5+ years experience in emerging technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic engineering, or climate-positive AI
- Proven track record of developing technology roadmaps with 3+ year implementation horizons
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Experience with ethical AI governance frameworks (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to visualize complex technology ecosystems
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three 2026-relevant technology implementations
