Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Horizon Report' forecasting disruptive technologies and societal shifts
- Design strategic roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, climate tech)
- Lead innovation sprints with engineering teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs focused on 2030+ tech
- Present future scenarios to stakeholders and translate complex trends into actionable business plans
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-focused research division
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published research on emerging technologies or societal transformation
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, biotechnology convergence, or sustainable infrastructure
- Proven ability to translate complex future scenarios into executable strategies
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and boards of directors
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method) preferred
