Responsibilities
- Analyze macro-trends in AI, biotechnology, and climate tech to inform 5-10 year strategic roadmaps
- Develop scenario models for industry disruption and market evolution through 2030
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-focused thinking into product development
- Produce annual foresight reports for executive stakeholders and board members
- Partner with R&D teams to identify breakthrough opportunities aligned with long-term vision
- Monitor global policy shifts and geopolitical developments affecting technology adoption
- Establish innovation metrics to validate future-readiness across organizational functions
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data synthesis and narrative communication skills
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) preferred
