Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze disruptive technologies (quantum computing, biotech, neural interfaces) with 3-5 year impact horizons
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for board-level decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops mapping future market disruptions to product roadmaps
- Establish KPIs for emerging tech adoption and innovation maturity
- Author thought leadership publications on 2026 industry transformations
- Partner with venture teams to scout and integrate frontier technologies
- Advise on ethical implications of next-gen automation and human-AI collaboration
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and technology adoption curves
- Deep knowledge of at least two frontier domains (quantum, synthetic biology, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation frameworks
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFSD, APF) preferred
