Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps using predictive analytics and trend forecasting
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready capabilities into current development cycles
- Produce quarterly strategic briefings for executive stakeholders on emerging market threats/opportunities
- Establish innovation metrics to measure ROI of futuristic initiatives
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry summits
- Mentor junior strategists in horizon scanning methodology
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning or innovation consulting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and technology adoption curves
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFTE, APF)
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
