Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify emerging trends and disruptive technologies by 2026
- Develop actionable roadmaps for integrating future technologies into current business operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align long-term vision with short-term objectives
- Conduct scenario planning and risk analysis for potential futures, preparing the organization for 2026 and beyond
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, technologists, and industry experts to stay ahead of the curve
- Drive innovation workshops and hackathons to prototype solutions for 2026 challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Strategic Management, Business, Technology, or related field; Master's or PhD preferred
- 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies in a corporate or startup environment
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their potential impact by 2026
- Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences
- Experience with scenario planning, trend analysis, and foresight methodologies
