Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight framework through trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Produce strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions aligned with 2026 market projections
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and emerging tech startups
- Present future trend analyses to stakeholders including investors, board members, and industry coalitions
- Design and implement organizational adaptation strategies for quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate tech disruptions
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists to build future-ready capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Systems Thinking, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional data visualization skills with proficiency in trend mapping tools (e.g., Palisade @RISK, Trendalyzer)
- Published thought leadership in futurism, innovation, or technology ethics (peer-reviewed journals or industry publications)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from the Association of Professional Futurists)
- Experience advising C-suite executives on technology disruption scenarios and adaptation strategies
