Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop and present future scenario models to guide strategic decision-making for 2026 and beyond
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for anticipated market shifts
- Establish and maintain an external network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Create foresight frameworks to embed future-readiness into product development and operational planning
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging paradigms and their business implications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating successful foresight projects that influenced organizational strategy
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from the Association of Professional Futurists)
