Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for disruptive industry shifts post-2025
- Partner with venture capital arm to evaluate and integrate emerging startups into our ecosystem
- Deliver executive briefings on future workforce models, regulatory landscapes, and ethical AI governance
- Architect innovation labs focused on 2026+ technologies (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Author white papers and thought leadership on the future of human-machine symbiosis
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or VC-backed startups
- Proven expertise in technology adoption lifecycle modeling and cross-industry trend analysis
- Strong command of exponential technology domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex futures into actionable business strategies
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Shell Two, Delphi Method) and trend-mapping software
