Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and evaluate disruptive innovations with exponential growth potential
- Produce strategic foresight reports and white papers on emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech)
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into development lifecycles
- Establish KPIs and success metrics for long-term innovation initiatives
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists on future-proofing methodologies and critical thinking frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Expertise in exponential technology trends (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Proven track record of developing actionable future scenarios for enterprise strategy
- Strong data visualization and storytelling skills with complex technical concepts
- Experience with horizon scanning tools and strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or equivalent professional development
- Portfolio of published future-strategy work or thought leadership publications
