Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neural interfaces, climate tech) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop 2026+ strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients in AI, healthcare, and energy sectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineers, designers, and futurists to prototype future scenarios
- Author thought leadership reports published in MIT Technology Review and Wired
- Secure partnerships with NASA, DARPA, and academic research institutions
- Mentor a team of 5 futurists and data scientists
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic consulting, R&D, or futurism with Fortune 100 exposure
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, synthetic biology, or climate modeling
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals (Nature, Science) or equivalent impact
- Proven track record of scaling emerging technologies from lab to market
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Fluency in scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Shell Two Loops, Delphi Method)
- Portfolio of 3+ implemented future-strategy projects with measurable ROI
