Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI ethics, climate resilience, neurotech adoption) to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for enterprise clients across tech, healthcare, and finance sectors
- Lead cross-functional foresight workshops with executive stakeholders to translate foresight into action
- Author high-impact trend briefs and white papers published in industry-leading publications
- Build and maintain proprietary foresight models using quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Collaborate with R&D teams to stress-test future concepts against emerging risks and opportunities
- Mentor junior strategists in advanced foresight methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Systems Thinking, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-range strategic frameworks
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and scenario planning techniques
- Exceptional command of quantitative and qualitative research tools (Python, NLP, ethnography)
- Published thought leadership on technology futures or disruptive innovation
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight projects that influenced organizational strategy
