Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to map 2026 technological and societal scenarios
- Develop data-driven strategic frameworks for quantum computing and AI integration
- Produce annual 'Future State' whitepapers influencing industry standards
- Partner with R&D to prioritize 5G+ and biotech innovation pipelines
- Represent Horizon at global futurism forums and thought leadership summits
- Design ethical governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Monitor geopolitical and climate resilience impacts on tech adoption
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in strategic foresight or technology innovation leadership
- Published author in emerging tech or futurism (IEEE/Foresight journals preferred)
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or similar designation
- Experience advising Fortune 500 C-suites on 5-year horizons
- Portfolio of implemented future-proofing strategies
