Responsibilities
- Develop predictive frameworks for technological and societal shifts through 2026-2030
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Design innovation roadmaps aligned with company strategic objectives
- Present trend analysis to board members and investor groups quarterly
- Mentor junior futurists and cross-functional project teams
- Author annual 'State of 2026' industry whitepapers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech strategy
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (portfolio required)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or MBA
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., CFrA) preferred
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling abilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board audiences
- Published thought leadership in industry journals
