Responsibilities
- Architect strategic roadmaps for 2026+ technological adoption across quantum computing, neural interfaces, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and validate disruptive trends with C-suite executives
- Develop predictive models using AI-powered scenario planning tools for market evolution
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions for climate resilience and space exploration
- Author thought leadership publications on societal impacts of autonomous systems
- Manage $2M innovation portfolio for emerging technology incubation
- Coordinate with global policy think tanks on ethical AI governance frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, emerging technology consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI development, or space tech
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies (patents/products required)
- Advanced degree in Physics, Computer Science, or Futurology with PhD preferred
- Proficiency in predictive modeling tools (e.g., GPT-4 Turbo, Palantir Axiom)
- Published research in Nature Futures or IEEE Spectrum on 2030+ tech trends
- Experience securing federal grants for breakthrough technology initiatives
- Certification in Horizon Scanning from APF or WFS
