- Analyze horizon-scanning data from 50+ emerging tech domains to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for quantum-AI convergence and biotech integration
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, data scientists, and design futurists
- Present findings to C-suite executives and board members with compelling visualizations
- Forge partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and government innovation hubs
- Author annual 'State of 2026' trend reports for Fortune 500 clients
Qualifications
- PhD in Future Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent disruptive expertise
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in horizon scanning
- Published research in Nature Futures or similar peer-reviewed futurist journals
- Proven track record of predicting at least 3 major tech shifts (2015-2023)
- Mastery of scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, AGI safety, and climate tech convergence
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies
