Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to identify paradigm-shifting technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026-2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for climate resilience, quantum computing adoption, and biotech breakthroughs
- Lead cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and executive teams to integrate foresight into strategy
- Produce quarterly trend briefings and white papers on exponential technologies and their business implications
- Build predictive models for workforce transformation and market disruption in key verticals
- Collaborate with MIT Future Labs and Singularity University on cutting-edge research initiatives
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and external partners at global innovation forums
Qualifications
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, futurism, or technology trend analysis
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, neurotech)
- Proven experience developing scenario-planning frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Publication record in futurism journals or thought leadership platforms
- Mastery of foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, STEEP analysis)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from foresight academy or similar institution)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of future-ready strategies
