Responsibilities
- Develop 2026-2030 technology foresight frameworks through trend analysis and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops mapping emerging tech (quantum, biotech, AGI) to market opportunities
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions addressing climate, health, and equity challenges
- Author quarterly 'Future State Briefs' for executive board and investor stakeholders
- Establish strategic alliances with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused institutions
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary 'Horizon Scanning' methodology
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy/innovation roles with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization (quantum, AI, or biotech preferred)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals or top-tier tech publications
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Cross-Impact Matrix)
- Experience securing $1M+ budgets for experimental initiatives
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 commercialized future-tech innovations
