As our lead futurist, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, research labs, and global think tanks to identify paradigm shifts, develop scenario roadmaps, and pioneer solutions for challenges we haven't yet imagined. Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to forecast societal, technological, and economic trends through 2030
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients navigating 2026 market shifts
- Lead cross-functional workshops on exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, bio-digital convergence)
- Author white papers and thought leadership frameworks for industry conferences and publications
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-ready solutions in our Austin innovation lab
- Advect organizational culture toward adaptive, anticipatory mindsets through training programs
- Represent InnovateTomorrow at global forums on future readiness and resilience
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning methodologies
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Experience advising C-suite on paradigm shifts and transformational change
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP, WFS) strongly preferred
