Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts post-2025
- Develop strategic roadmaps for innovation adoption across 15+ business units
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable R&D priorities
- Author annual 'Future State' reports for executive board and investor presentations
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate emerging startups and technologies
- Design and implement trend-impact assessment frameworks for strategic planning
- Mentor junior futurists and establish the company's foresight methodology
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in corporate innovation, strategic foresight, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology impact assessment
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences and board experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
