Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks to map technological, economic, and societal shifts through 2026
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions in AI, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Analyze emerging trends and disruptors to identify high-impact market opportunities and competitive threats
- Design scenario-planning models to prepare organizational resilience for future volatility
- Present visionary roadmaps to stakeholders through executive briefings and thought leadership forums
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs to co-create future technologies
- Mentor innovation teams in applying future-focused methodologies to product development
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Innovation Management, Technology Strategy, or related field
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategic narratives
- Track record of launching future-oriented products or ventures
- Certification in Foresight methodologies (e.g., WFS, APF) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating futurist projects or published thought leadership
