Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, market signals, and geopolitical shifts to identify disruptive opportunities and risks through 2026
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive foresight framework with 10-year horizon scanning capabilities
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership, translating complex futures into actionable strategies
- Collaborate with R&D teams to accelerate innovation pipelines aligned with future market needs
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and data-driven narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks to maintain foresight ecosystem
- Monitor and report on key future indicators through quarterly strategic foresight briefings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation management, or futures research
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful foresight projects that influenced organizational strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or similar institution)
- Experience with futures simulation tools and data visualization platforms
