Responsibilities
- Lead cross-disciplinary '2026 Vision Labs' to identify and prototype paradigm-shifting innovations
- Develop predictive models for technology adoption, market disruption, and societal evolution
- Forge strategic partnerships with research institutions and government futurist offices
- Translate foresight insights into actionable product roadmaps for C-suite stakeholders
- Author quarterly 'Horizon Scan' reports forecasting 5-10 year industry transformations
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AGI)
- Mentor a team of innovation specialists in speculative design and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or equivalent with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record of launching at least two disruptive products/services post-2020
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neurotech)
- Exceptional storytelling ability to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (e.g., TEDx, MIT Tech Review)
- Experience with foresight tools like Delphi methods, causal layered analysis, or anticipatory governance
