Responsibilities
- Develop 3-year innovation roadmap for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead moonshot projects targeting climate-positive technology by 2026
- Coordinate with MIT, Stanford, and EU Horizon Europe research initiatives
- Build and mentor a 12-person innovation lab with $5M annual budget
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- File 15+ patents annually in emerging tech domains
- Organize annual FutureTech Summit with 1,000+ global participants
Qualifications
- PhD in Computational Physics, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in R&D leadership with 3+ Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of shipping breakthrough technologies (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting frameworks (Delphi, Scenario Planning)
- Published research in Nature/Science with 500+ citations
- Active member of World Economic Forum Global Futures Council
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
