Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape assessments for emerging technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget across 12 strategic projects
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of technological curiosity
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, or sustainable AI
- MBA or advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
- Published research or patents in relevant technical domains
- Experience securing federal innovation grants (DARPA, NSF)
- Exceptional presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
