Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors including quantum computing, neural interfaces, and sustainable AI
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and data scientists to prototype 2026-viable solutions
- Analyze global tech trends, patent landscapes, and regulatory impacts on future innovation
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Present findings to C-suite executives and external stakeholders through compelling narratives
- Mentor junior strategists in future forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching products with 5+ year market impact
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/PhD preferred)
- Certified in Future Foresight methodologies (preferred)
- Experience securing $1M+ in R&D funding or venture capital
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
