Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market predictions
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum algorithms, ethical AI frameworks)
- Conduct competitive analysis of emerging tech trends (neuromorphic computing, biocompatible electronics)
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on technology disruption risks/opportunities
- Secure patents and publish whitepapers in top-tier journals (Nature, IEEE Spectrum)
- Mentor junior innovators through our FutureTech Academy program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in launching commercialized tech products (3+ IPO-level exits)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, etc.)
- Published research in top-tier journals or conference proceedings
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding or grants
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Ability to obtain US DoD Secret clearance for classified projects
