Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap: Define and execute the long-term technology strategy for Nexus Horizon, specifically focusing on AI evolution and future tech integration for the 2026 timeframe.
- Emerging Tech Evaluation: Research, prototype, and evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., advanced neural networks, sustainable computing) to determine feasibility and business impact.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a high-performance engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and forward-thinking problem-solving.
- Product Vision: Translate complex futuristic concepts into actionable product features that enhance user experience and drive market differentiation.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate complex technical visions to non-technical stakeholders, securing buy-in for ambitious technology initiatives.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee architectural integrity, ensuring scalability, security, and performance across all future-facing platforms.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or architectural role.
- Tech Stack: Deep expertise in AI/ML frameworks, cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), and experience with high-scale distributed systems.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to think several years into the future and align technical roadmaps with broader business objectives.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical topics for diverse audiences.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; PhD is a plus.
- Innovation: Demonstrated history of driving innovation and implementing novel solutions to complex engineering challenges.
