Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical frameworks for generative AI systems deployed in 2026+ environments
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives on AI alignment, bias mitigation, and transparency standards
- Develop policy recommendations for international AI governance bodies including the OECD and UN
- Author peer-reviewed publications and white papers on emerging AI ethics paradigms
- Mentor junior researchers and build partnerships with academic institutions
- Conduct scenario planning for AI existential risk mitigation strategies
- Represent Nexus Futura at global tech ethics forums and policy summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Philosophy, Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or related field with 5+ years applied AI ethics research
- Published record in top-tier AI ethics journals (e.g., AI & Society, Ethics and Information Technology)
- Direct experience with EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and other regulatory frameworks
- Expertise in large language model interpretability and bias quantification
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with participatory design methodologies for AI governance
- Strong programming skills (Python preferred) for research prototyping
- Fluency in at least one additional language (Chinese, Spanish, or Arabic preferred)
